Our inaugural Seven-day meditation retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand aimed to deepen our understanding and practice of mindfulness and meditation, rooted in the Buddha's teachings. As a country with a rich Buddhist heritage, Thailand provided the perfect backdrop for our transformative journey of self-discovery. Under the guidance of our master, we learned the practice of the Five Preliminaries and were supported by like-minded volunteers.
As part of the initiation ritual, participants line up in front of the Buddha statue and pray, led by our Dharma teacher.
